Hermes Health is a private, owner-operated integration for a single WHOOP account. It is not offered to the general public.
After the account owner authorizes WHOOP OAuth, Hermes Health retrieves only the WHOOP data permitted by the selected read-only scopes: recovery (including HRV and resting heart rate), physiological cycles and day strain, sleep and sleep performance, and workouts. Basic technical timestamps, resource IDs and synchronization diagnostics are also retained. It does not request WHOOP profile or body-measurement scopes.
The information is processed to maintain the owner's private historical records, provide data-quality and recovery context, and support personal scheduling decisions. Hermes Health is deterministic; it does not diagnose medical conditions or automatically alter the owner's study calendar based on recovery scores.
WHOOP measurements are stored in a private database on the owner's Oracle Cloud-hosted Hermes server. OAuth credentials are stored separately with restricted access. The information is not used for advertising or sold. Authorized Hermes components may read limited health summaries. The planned ChatGPT connection is not currently enabled; if subsequently enabled by the owner, selected summaries may be transmitted to that provider when explicitly requested or scheduled, subject to its applicable privacy terms.
Historical records are retained until the owner requests their deletion; there is currently no automatic retention expiry. The owner can revoke WHOOP access and request removal of stored credentials and records through their own Hermes administration. Revoking access does not automatically erase previously stored measurements.
